SealMaxx Wood Sealant process creates a permanent, water tight bond effective against moisture, acids, mold and more while increasing the density and strength of the wood. First we deep clean the wood substrate to remove any existing oil based stains and dirt. The SealMaxx Wood Sealant is then applied following this deep cleaning process. The rinse water serves as the catalyst to carry the SealMaxx Wood Sealant deep into the wood. The water evaporates and the SealMaxx Wood Sealant begins to crystallize with the substrate to create an internal bond, reducing the porosity of the wood, strengthening the wood to prevent rot and warping in the future. This application is guaranteed for 25 years! We allow your deck to dry for 24 hours and return to sand the horizontal wood and apply the PWS2000 Moisture Barrier product. This product is available in clear or with “Color Enhancement.” This pure silicone product is guaranteed to keep your wood water tight for a minimum of five years.
